Toi Māori

This project group has been working closely with one of the impact groups and have looked at the Maori culture within HPSS. Though this they have been making a bunch of different Maori artworks and artifacts. In this workshop you will get to make some kowhaiwhai and see some of the work the students have done.

Kia ora raa. Ko Whaea Leoni tōku ingoa. Ko ahau te kaiako mō te whakaako i te reo Māori me ōna tikanga. Hi, I’m Whaea Leoni and I am the teacher of Te Reo Māori here at HPSS. I learnt Māori at the age of 27.
